The lineage traces back to late-1990s groups like Dain ba Enkh, early outfits like Mongolz (uniting Gee and Jonon), and Tatar, long recognized as an iconic group in the local scene’s history. Long-running figureheads maintain deep authority. Big Gee (T. Mönkh-Erdene), a founding member of the Click Click Boom collective and a coach on The Voice of Mongolia, continues to bridge older traditions with contemporary drops.
