When meow! dammit talks about the domestic landscape in Kazakhstan, she points straight to peers like Dequine, Yenlik, and Nia. Identified by Marie Claire Kazakhstan as an emerging pop star on the country’s scene, the Almaty singer and rapper operates at the intersection of two distinct impulses: she gravitates toward pleasant, airy beats, but leans into rap whenever she needs to channel negative emotions.

Her catalog reflects that deliberate friction. She chose the moniker meow! dammit specifically to merge two incompatible words, setting up a balance between tenderness and boldness. Five years before stripping away studio sheen for a raw delivery, she was recording music in GarageBand on a phone with nothing more than a headphone microphone. That DIY run eventually picked up significant momentum when her track “Lotta Fucking Money” went viral on TikTok.

With “Get The Bag,” released on YouTube, she brings that directness into a trilingual framework. The track moves between English, Russian, and Kazakh, a multilingual format she plans to maintain in her songwriting. meow! dammit framed the record around girls who work, achieve their goals, do whatever they want, and carry no fear.

That focus on unfiltered delivery also drove her performance for Red Bull 64 Bars, where she delivered 64 bars of rap on the track “Мяу дэммит, ты всех краше” without autotune or vocal effects. Shazam documents that “Red Bull 64 Bars” appearance as a hip-hop/rap release issued on May 19, 2026, through the label õzen. It followed a steady stream of self-directed output, including “The Aura”—a hip-hop/rap cut on which Yasmin Guliyeva wrote the words and music, and handled production herself.

Her wider work spans multiple formats and platforms across the city. She joined the lineup of 107 artists participating in Yandex Music’s “Studio Go” project in Almaty, a collaborative initiative that resulted in more than 80 new tracks and served as a live staging ground for new material alongside older cuts.

On streaming services, her sound is cataloged across different lanes, with Apple Music classifying her genre under R&B/Soul. Her releases trace a progression from 2024 cuts like “little more” and “Мошугум” into 2025 drops including “Molly Santana” and three tracks featured on the Spring Loves Pink Mixtape: “Девочки Целуют Девочек,” “Nokia,” and “Playgirl.” That run carried directly into the UK listing of her single “No Games” on April 3, 2026.
