DABOYWAY, the Bangkok hip-hop act and part of Thaitanium, has seen his Spotify monthly listeners spike hard this year. "WIP WUP" carries most of the weight, with "CAKE DIET" and "Deep Down" pulling listeners deeper into the catalogue. He also runs NeverSayCutz barbershops across Thailand, so the crew is a lifestyle as much as a tracklist. The wider scene runs on cross-Asian links. 88rising's Head in the Clouds album and festival have tied K-pop, Indonesian rap and Asian-American acts together, and the festival also runs in Manila and Jakarta. On the dancefloor, the sound leans toward disco and 80s R&B-tinged pop, the kind that fits a late-night room better than a playlist.
Nothing new was added to the WorldWidePop playlist in October, so this month is about what it already holds: 108 videos. The latest entries run sideways. Kelwiz's two Sinhala-titled videos sit near Nini Music's Asian folk cover of "The Sound of Silence" and Kiun B's film on the Yhyakh Festival in one of the world's coldest cities. Add PassportHeavy's video about buying land in Paradise and the playlist moves from street rap to travel, folk and festival culture without apology. It rewards listeners who want to be surprised.
Commenters are writing in from Gambia, the United States and Nigeria, a spread that suits a scene built on crossover. Watch the Head in the Clouds festival next: the Los Angeles edition is listed for August 2026 at Brookside at the Rose Bowl. If DABOYWAY keeps climbing, expect the Bangkok sound to get a bigger slot on the bill.
Thank you for this wonderful video! I have incurred so much losses trading on my own....I trade well on demo but I think the real market is manipulated.... Can anyone help me out or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong?

People have been talking about investing in Belize for more than 20 years. There have been A LOT of issues in Belize for just as many years including clear title fraud, escrow fraud, a corrupt government, corrupt police. There’s also a major issue with squatters because of the low income and lack of income of many locals. The government often sides with the locals so as a foreigner, good luck getting those squatters off your property! Belize is not some unknown land. People have known about Belize for many years, but the negatives often outweigh the benefits of investing there.

Crazy. I was there 5 years ago. That ride from San Pedro to secret beach was pretty barren then. On one hand it was nice to experience Belize when it was more raw, eating breakfast with locals, no big hotels or developments really there. Looks like it might lose some of that natural vibe a lot of travelers went there for

I was there a few weeks ago and Marriott is building a huge hotel complex right there on the beach in San Pedro. It's unfortunate that the govt of San Pedro is allowing the island to lose what made it unique. The Island had a certain "thing" that made it special. Now I fear it'll be just like every other island that Americans and Corp interest go in and destroy. It's sad really.

Secret Beach is okay nothing special it's like a big pool with no waves. It's noisy and everyone is just on top of each other. Don't forget about the Killer mosquitoes I wasn't blown away. Don't get me wrong I love Belize as a whole just not crazy about secret beach. The golf cart ride was nice. San Andres blew me away the whole Island from Bowie on down beautiful water front and very peaceful.

Beautiful video, but sad that most of the locals won't be able to live in the beautiful country they loved because of so many expats buying "cheap" real estate. It's one thing to move domestically and abroad and not affect the cost of living for locals, and it's another thing to do this.

Appreciate this comment and I hear you, tourism and investment is changing local peoples lives for better and worse - it’s a fact.
We’ve seen this all over the world, particularly in Bali where we’ve spent so much time over the last 10 years and it is complex. For many locals we spoke with the surge in tourism and foreign investment created opportunities and industries that simply didn’t exist before and enabled them to put food on the table to the other end of the scale acquire more land, multiple businesses with hundreds of employees that were previously working horrendously low paid jobs or not employed at all and literally starving.
Separate to the conversation above but super fascinating to us - We had dinner last week after an event with a group of strangers & their conversation was around African Americans, Afro Caribbean people who’s ancestors were taken on slave ships to the Caribbean / Americas and records erased. One of the ladies at the table asked the other directly “Why are you investing where the slave ship dropped you off”. The table was silenced & everyone just sat there stunned.
Appreciate you sharing.

I really appreciate this video so much because you shared with us a very private part of your life of the struggle you had growing up and how we can relate in some type of way. This was very inspiring to us that no matter how your childhood or life has been that you can pick yourself up and rise above it all. Thank you so much for sharing and even though I don't know you personally. I am very very proud of you my brother ✊🏾✊🏾 and much love and congratulations

Great video, I have 3 properties in Belize. Largest is 50 acers. I purchased many years ago. My wife and I lived in Honduras and she had family in Belize., so we purchased a 50 acer farm/ranch. We lived thier for a little under 2 years. For me it just got a little dangerous living there. Once people knew you, and found out you had a little money, the word would spread to the bad elements of the island. I personally got tipped off of a kidnapping by a nice family who would work on the land. Found out that the criminals was planning it out for months. So unfortunately we had to move from Belize, that stinks and I'm sure you don't want to hear it, but thats the truth. I would visit a nice resort but I wouldn't live there again. But I'm holding on to the properties, because it's only going up and they are paid years ago. Take care. Hawk.
